What Merge delivers on iPhone
Xiaomi built its Wear OS watches for Android. Merge connects them to iPhone. Once paired, notifications from every app on your iPhone appear on the watch in real time. You decide which apps send alerts and configure notification types per app, so the watch delivers what matters and skips what doesn't.
Health data syncs to Apple Health: workouts, heart rate, steps, distance, floors climbed, and calories all transfer automatically in the background. Music playing on your iPhone is controllable from the watch. Camera control lets you trigger your iPhone camera from your wrist. Contacts sync for caller ID on incoming calls.
The one-time Android step
Xiaomi Watch requires an Android phone for its initial activation — every Wear OS watch does. The setup links the watch to a Google account, installs apps, and configures the software. It takes about 10-15 minutes and you only do it once. Borrow any Android phone, run through setup, and return it.
- Install Merge Watch on your iPhone via the App Store.
- Install Merge Watch on your Xiaomi Watch via Google Play.
After activation, pair through Merge and the connection stays permanent. Full setup: How to connect Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro to iPhone.
Which Xiaomi Watch models work
Xiaomi Watch 2 and Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro are supported through Merge. Both run Wear OS and pair to iPhone through the same Merge flow.
The features are the same across both models: iPhone notifications, health sync to Apple Health, music control, camera control, and contacts.
How the connection works
Merge connects Xiaomi Watch to your iPhone over Bluetooth. The devices need to be in Bluetooth range for notifications to arrive.
Open both apps, approve Bluetooth permissions on each, then tap Start Pairing on the watch and connect from your iPhone's Bluetooth settings. Once paired, everything runs in the background.
